  2. STAY IN TOUCH is the Ultimate in Contact Management Software.  HELP
  3. is available throughout the program by hitting the F1 Key.  Read the
  4. HELP at all Menu's, Table's and data input fields - this is the best
  5. way to learn the program.  See the HELP at fields requiring date input
  6. and you'll see what we mean.

  8.                      TO INSTALL STAY IN TOUCH
  9.         PLACE DISKETTE IN DRIVE AND TYPE A:INSTALL or B:INSTALL
  10.  
  11. STAY IN TOUCH needs 525K of free memory to run properly (especially
  12. if displaying reports to the screen).  STAY IN TOUCH will open 39 files
  13. when the software starts.  The Install Program will ask if you want
  14. the FILES parameter changed in your CONFIG.SYS file to 50.  Answer YES
  15. to this question.  If you do not have enough file handles set, you
  16. will get an error when the program loads.

  24.                  USING MULTIPLE CONTACT DATABASES
  25.  
  26. You may use multiple contact databases with STAY IN TOUCH. To work with
  27. multiple databases follow these directions:

  29. Place STAY IN TOUCH (SIT) in your path.  Your Path Statement in your
  30. Autoexec.bat file could look something like this:

  32. Path c:\dos;c:\wp51;C:\SIT
  33.  
  34. With SIT added to your path - you can now start SIT from any directory.  When
  35. SIT starts, it will look for data files in the directory in which you start.
  36. If no data files are found, SIT will create empty data files.  For example,
  37. your could create directories called PERSONAL and BUSINESS for keeping your
  38. personal and business contacts.  If you go to the PERSONAL directory and start
  39. SIT, it will use the data files in that directory, and the same goes for the
  40. BUSINESS directory.  An easy way to change directories without really leaving
  41. SIT - is to select Go To Dos from the Utilities Menu.  When you get to the
  42. C: prompt - change to the directory that contains your other data files
  43. (eg cd\business) and then type Exit to return to SIT.
